Impact Covid-19 on our business
Through this message, I would like to update you on the impact that the COVID-19 situation currently has on the operations and support of Royal Joh. Enschedé.
The past several weeks have been very disturbing for many European countries and also here in The Netherlands, drastic measures had to be taken to combat the Covid-19 virus with full force. Until early June most social life has been brought to a full stop and schools, sports clubs as well as restaurants, theaters, etc. are closed.
Here at Royal Joh. Enschedé, we have implemented strict procedures and regulations to make sure we can continue working on our customers’ orders, achieving deadlines, maintaining quality. This means that where possible, colleagues are working from home and only come to the office when absolutely necessary. Availability via e-mail or phone remains unchanged.
Production personnel work in separated shifts and are requested to keep more than sufficient physical distance from their colleagues. Third parties are not allowed on our premises until further notice.
Obviously, we cannot guarantee that these measures will be enough, let alone promise that we will manage to meet all deadlines agreed upon earlier. Also we are dependent on our suppliers, transporters and, naturally, on the health of our colleagues. We can, however, guarantee that we will do everything in our power to ensure delivering your current and future orders in time and with the quality that you can expect from us.
These are extraordinary times and this requires extra effort, partnership, creativity and teamwork. Let us hope that the organization of both our customers and ours will be able to weather this storm without it causing too much damage and personal harm.
