About the project
Fastex designed and commissioned the world’s first collectible currency note backed 1:1 by a cryptocurrency token—theFasttoken (FTN). The visual design was created by the Fastex designteam, while Royal Joh. Enschedé and Authentix refined and produced it to meet banknote-grade security and quality standards. This groundbreaking project merges the security and craftsmanship of traditional banknote printing with the innovation of blockchain technology.

Production details
The note comes in 7 denominations
– Front: 6-colour offset (incl. UV), 3-colour intaglio, polymer foilstrip, black UV ink numbering/coding
– Back: 6-colour offset (incl. UV), metallic foil image
Each denomination in the FTN note series features a unique planet from our Solar System, combining vibrant design with secure, collectible value. Featuring advanced banknote-grade anti-counterfeit features—including intaglio printing, optically variable ink, metallic foils, serial numbering, and polymer substrate—this note is not just a collector’s item, but a secure bridge between worlds.
