For Pride 2026, Finnish postal operator Posti issued a colourful commemorative stamp celebrating diversity, equality and human rights. Designed by Finnish illustrator Eero Lampinen, the stamp features a diverse group of people marching together, their colourful clothing and forms flowing into the colours of the rainbow flag.

The design reflects the idea that, despite our differences, we can move towards a common goal: being seen, understood and accepted. Lampinen’s distinctive psychedelic style draws inspiration from the countercultures of the 1960s and the first Pride parades of the early 1970s.

“A postage stamp may be small in size, but it can carry a powerful message. The Pride stamp celebrates diversity, equality and human rights, values that are important to us as an employer and at the heart of our partnership with Helsinki Pride. At Posti, we want to help build a society where everyone feels seen, heard and accepted,” says Anna Storm, Vice President, Sustainability & Stakeholder Relations at Posti Group.

Bringing this vibrant artwork to life on a postage stamp required precise colour reproduction and careful offset printing. Royal Joh. Enschedé printed the stamps using a 5/4 offset process on self-adhesive stamp paper, specialized vivid ink overlays preserving the bold palette and intricate details of Lampinen’s original illustration. The result is a stamp that combines contemporary graphic design with the craftsmanship of traditional philately.
